The Science Behind Gratitude

One of the many ways to help sustain and nourish one’s mental health is practicing gratitude. This may seem cheesy or silly at first, but there have been many scientific studies that prove how recognizing the positive things around you can help rewire your brain.

Jotting down a couple things you are thankful for a few times a week can help improve overall mental well being. The key here is to not put pressure on yourself to write thank you notes on a fixed schedule, but to make it a practice that comes naturally to you.
