Pride is back and here's how to celebrate!

June kicks off the month of Pride. Although we're still in the midst of a pandemic, the state of New York and beyond are celebrating both online and in person. Find out about the origins of the first Pride celebration and also learn about how other states are celebrating Pride!

Gardening is cool!

Studies have shown that 8 in 10 young people think gardening is cool. It appears that during the pandemic, young people between the ages of 18-34 discovered the art of growing their own plants. A study conducted found that the most popular houseplants among those polled are cacti, orchids, and aloe vera, followed by basil, spider plants, and peace lillies. It appears that there will be an increase in community gardens! Check the link for more information.
